Tiramisu Light recipe

Ingredients List:
1 pre-baked angel food cake
1 cup of cold espresso
¾ cup of amaretto liqueur
1 ½ cups of nonfat ricotta cheese
1 cup of mascarpone cheese
3 tbsp of skim milk
1/3 cup of powdered sugar
1 ounce of shaved bittersweet chocolate
1 ½ cups of toasted sliced almonds
Directions:
You will want to take the angel food cake and cut it into 3 equal layers. Take a small bowl and combine the espresso and ½ a cup of the amaretto. Then you are going to spoon 1/3 of the mixture evenly onto each layer of cake. Now you will whisk together the rest of the amaretto, 1 cup of ricotta, ½ cup of mascarpone and ¼ cup of powdered sugar into a medium bowl. Now place one layer of the cake onto a plate and spread ½ a cup of mascarpone mixture on the top of it. Add a second layer of cake on top of the first layer of cake and then repeat the process. Then you will do the same thing with the last layer of the cake. Now you will whisk together the remaining ricotta, mascarpone, amaretto, and powdered sugar until it is well blended together good. Now you will cover the entire cake with the mixture. Grate your chocolate on to the top of the cake. Put it into the refrigerator to chill. You will want to chill it for about 3 to 5 hours. Once it is chilled it will be ready for you to cut into slices and serve as a great tasting dessert. This is one tasty dessert that you will be able to be very proud of, everyone will love it!
